“My initial use was a short ride through some suburbs and onto the freeway for 10 minutes. It took a bit of getting used to it whilst riding through lights and roundabouts as it sort of got in the way when I went to roll off the throttle. I slightly altered the position of the throttle assistant, so that it was more towards me and that helped. On the freeway it seemed to do it's job and allowed me to ride with a very relaxed throttle hand. I suspect that on a long freeway ride (I actually prefer twisty roads) it would be useful, but I would still need to change my hand position from time to time - sometimes using the device, sometimes not.”
