Bought lots of great products from you but was a bit disappointed with this one. I was expecting something with a thick soft fleece lining that would protect detailed paintwork, but this one although the lined isn't really soft.”

I recently started using my 3rd Gear large fleece lined motorcycle cover. It is a more complete cover system and quite well made for the price however it suffers the same problem as many other motorcycle covers in that it cannot withstand the heat of the exhaust pipe/s shortly after engine shutdown, which is exactly when I (and I imagine most others) put the cover on. On the very first use a hole instantly burned through on contact with the engine pipe of my DR650.
I would have thought that when designing a cover for motorcycles, which often have very hot exposed exhaust systems, that consideration would be given to choosing a heat resistant material!

“Arrived within the allocated time and was well packaged. Size was perfect for my bike. Lovely fleece lined so does not damage paint etc. Very pleased all round.”
“I used to have the same cover before but from a different brand (seller) for a much higher price...and you know what? its exactly the same, just with a different logo on it but 25$ cheaper! Saying that I expected a Yamaha print as shown on the photos but it came with the Third Gear logo , but it doesnt really matter still very happy with buy ! Thanks guys!”
