“I installed these grips on a Honda Grom. I'd rate the installation difficulty as moderate because I wired it up to a relay so that I cannot flatten the battery. On my bars, the grips were longer than needed so I trimmed the ends as well as the throttle tube so that it sits closer to the switch block. The spring loaded throttle mechanism is a nice touch but a potential point of failure down the track.
The level of heating is not as high as my Oxford grips, which is obvious from the wattage rating. But it is enough to take the edge off the cold. Given the low current draw, I would consider piggybacking the headlight loom if I were to install these on another bike.”
