A few weeks ago I purchased Heated Hand Grips for my Suzuki Gladius motorcyle. It took me a litte while to get time to fit them. There was no instruction sheet supplied with them, but it was reasonably easy to work out what was required. I fited a fused relay under the seat near the battery, so that they cannot operate without the key turned on. On high setting they heat up very quickly, and then I turn to low. Even on low they sometimes get a little too warm, so I turn off for a little while. Because I am very pleased with them, I ordered another set and have fitted them to my friend's motorcycle.

I am very pleased with the Third gear supplied Heated Hand Grips. So I have ordered another set and have fitted them to my friend's motorcycle. An improvement that could be useful would be to have an instruction sheet with them.

excellent unit, especially like heating control incorporated into left grip. Highly recommend.

Great grip diameter for larger hands and firm but grippy feel. Length is pretty good 10mm more would be prefect. Throttle side is a well designed setup to keep the wiring stationary. I had to reduce the diameter just slightly where this assembly sits into the OEM switch / throttle housing (a quick rub with sand paper did the trick). The inner diameter of the throttle tube is maybe a fraction too big as it has plenty of wobble on the bar, but not too excessive. Heating is pretty good. I wouldn't say it get's to 70*C on high, but maybe 60*C? Still plenty for the purpose.

I wanted a cheaper, simpler solution to cold mornings, and these are a quarter of the price of the known brand name alternatives. No instructions, but the install was very easy - the hardest bit was getting my old grips off! They look very neat when installed and feel very sturdy. The wiring was green=ground and black=positive - the other way around works except the LED light won't turn on this way. However, the claim of 70°C on high is asking a bit - they get warm, but not hot. The high setting draws 15W compared to 48W of the more expensive common brand, so the temperature pales in comparison. I have been riding on 0°C mornings and they work quite well, but a little hotter would be nicer.

The grips work well. When installing make sure you have polarity correct; grips will work with reversed polarity but the LED light won’t. Also, the grips can be trimmed as far back as the outer indented ring in the rubber as the element does not go that far. Useful for me as they were a little longer than my original grips. Also make sure you use a sufficient gauge of wiring. Installed on 2 bikes and they heat quickly; I installed mine with a 12v relay so they don’t run battery flat of left on and ignition off. Would be 5 stars if they included instructions to fit.

Bought these cheap grips to fit to my track bike . Didn't realize the right hand grip was a complete spring loaded throttle assembly Bit of a hassle to fit the throttle assembly but once I figged that out they don't seem to bad. They even survived a death grip moment when I ran off the end of the Phillip island straight.

Delivery was prompt, however no instructions for installation, and the RED LED which suggests whether the unit is on does not work (which is disappointing).
