The large rubber waterproof cap over the power outlet and the grommets for the wires where they exit underneath, seal very well. Some other specs. - The inside diameter of the actual power outlet is about 21 mm, meaning that's what the external diameter of the plug on your e.g. compressor or other device, also needs to be. You need 4 cm free width of h/bar space to fit this unit. The standard clamp supplied will fit 25 mm diameter h/bars and also 22 mm diameter h/bars with rubber sleeve inserted ( included ). ( General workmanship hint : do not overtighten clamp screws. They are only little fellas. ) Will not clamp to 28 mm diam. handlebar ( "fat bars" ) using the supplied clamp, but CAN be cable tied on to this diameter of bar. External dimensions of power outlet housing are length 58 mm and diameter 38 mm. Best quality power outlet I've seen.”
