Love the Standard Size Percale pillow cases. Wish they came as an option with cal-King sheet sets.

I guess I am old fashioned. I want a standard pillow case to be the standard size, not leaving tails hanging over that are too short to fold in and stay. It creates a sloppy look. AS to feel, I am hoping that they will become smoother with more washing.

I have been looking for truly top-quality, thick, smooth, crisp, cool percale sheets for about 40 years - ever since I luxuriated in my very particular grandmother's guest bed and impeccable bed linens. I've tried every brand from The Company Store to Ralph Lauren, Boll and Branch, Parachute, Martha Stewart, and dozens of others, and spent many hundreds of dollars. I'm always disappointed by sheets that are fuzzy and warm when they should be cool, or cool but scratchy, or have an acceptable texture but are overly thin and wear out in less than a year. Just recently I finally found Thomas Lee's 500 thread count supima cotton percale bed linens. Joy! This is the fabric I have been craving for decades - beautiful, thick, high-grade cotton that washes well, irons to a paper-smooth crispness, and feels wonderfully cool all night long. I couldn't be happier with these sheets. I've recommended them to everyone I know, and I just hope and pray that when (if?!) this set ever wears out, Thomas Lee will still be in business!
