“I bought a Queen size set, consisting of a fitted bed sheet, flat sheet, and two pillowcases. Out of the box, quality was great-no signs of cheap thread for stitching, poor craftsmanship or materials. The sheets felt soft as can be expected. I followed the instructions and washed with very little laundry soap. I washed a second time on delicate with just water, no detergent. The sheets fit great! - the way sheets should. Sleeping in them felt weird. The sheets weren't as soft as when handling them. They felt kind of scratchy, but still soft, if that makes sense. I have slept in them for three nights now. They seem to be breaking in and softening up. Overall I am very satisfied with them.”

Over a decade ago, I could buy sheets that were of a similar thread count and that would soften after a 5 years to the same degree as Thomas Lee sheets. However, by the age that those sheets were 'softened up', the stitching started coming un-done or the fold over at the header would fray. Not so of Thomas Lee sheets; they soften and last and last. Moreover, I cannot buy those other Pima Cotton sheets anymore, as they are no longer made. What replaced them were sateen sheets that are not interwoven in the same way, and sateen sheets only feel soft before washing and just get prickly with multiple washings. Absolutely worth the investment. I love and I'll stay in love with Thomas Lee sheets. True to size.”
