“Even my kids love the scent! I love the durable metal soap dispenser and the reminder on the bottle that we've survived without plastic before and we can do it again. I don't love the refill for a few reasons. The refill size is 12 oz, and the bottle says 12 oz, which implies you can empty the entire contents of the refill into the bottle. Well, this was not the case. I had a huge mess trying to transfer some of the liquid back into the refill and there's a little bit liquid left in the refill pouch, which is obnoxious. Also, it's hard for me to believe a 12 oz refill pouch is more sustainable than a standard 12 oz single-use plastic soap bottle. That's because these pouches are usually not recyclable and it's more sustainable if the pouch itself is much bigger and contains enough liquid for at least 3 refills. Both the bottle and refills are opaque so it's hard to see how much liquid is left in either container. They assume that we are just going to throw out the bottle and refills. I always recycle my plastic bottles, even though they might not ultimately be recycled. However, the soap is excellent, works great, and smells great!”

The truth is, a pouch uses 80% less plastic, water and oil then making the same size bottle. Also, while we applaud people who recycle their plastic bottles it's not the only problem in the cycle. We need to be reducing consumption in that space all we can -- 80% is better than nothing for sure and we don't support any type of plastic bottle manufacturing @ThreeMain. The pouches are recyclable through programs that offer #7 and we also offer free ZERO WASTE recycling for all of our refills at no cost for subscribers, if they need. We agree there is a long way to go and we will keep making strides to develop the most effective formulas and reducing packaging.

“After trying this product for a couple of weeks, I've found a new soap! I love that it has a light weight metal pump that will hold up to any family. The refills are perfectly sized for the pump and easy to pour into the pump. Eco-friendliness is great! The scent is wonderful. it's a little strong when you are washing, but the lavender/citrus smell is natural and so pleasant. The scent doesn't linger which is great. With COVID I've been washing my hands all day long, and this soap has been the most gentle, non-drying that I've used. The vitamin E and hylauronic acid really helps you retain moisture. Also doesn't have harmful chemicals like parabens. If you have eczema, there's no fear with this product, it's that gentle! Eco-friendly, safe and enjoyable, this is a big win!”
