“I bought these for a police patrol vehicle. My existing cheapo amazon seat covers failed almost instantly and the seat had a ginormous hole where my pistol had dug in past the padding to the steel frame. Thru social media I found Tiger Tough and was sold. I went thru the effort to use the department state credit card to purchase AND I timed replacing the seat back to coincide with having the Tiger Tough covers to place immediately on to prevent any wear from my gun. As a larger (more tactically girthy) officer who works a lot of overtime and travel out of my vehicle, I did not want to go any amount of time uncovered.
The seat covers arrived and they do fit like a glove and have shown that they are everything they are chalked up to be..........including/except the no questions asked warranty.
After approximately a month of use, the driver side seat back side area nearest the door began to unstitch. I emailed and sent photos and Tiger Tough said that if I sent the seat cover back, they would repair it. I told them that would not work for me as I had specifically timed their install with a brand new seat back and to have the seat re-exposed to the rigors of my duty belt for the amounts of travel and overtime I am in the vehicle would not work for me. They stated the seat back was repairable.
I chose not to return the seat back as I am unwilling to subject the cushion and seat back to an extended amount of time uncovered.
At the present, the hole is slowly unstitching and will become an issue.
It is disappointing to me for the amount of money spent and the countless social media posts that sold me, that there was a disconnect regarding the wear and tear an exposed seat would endure. Now I will use these until they completely blow out and hope the state will authorize another purchase in the hopes that the quality control is more on point.”
