“I bought 55 of these having bought 'identical' tiles from topps tiles last year. The quality is not the same. Then again, the ones last year were made in Italy, whereas these are made in China. Some tiles had scratches on the surface despite the polystyrene between each tile. Some were chipped and one tile had what looked like a mug mark circular defect in the glaze right in the middle of the tile, and a few had chipped edges and corners. the Italian ones had far less imperfections. However you must remember that the topps tiles ones were 3 times the price. All in all I'm happy with the tiles, as I was able to utilize some in areas not too visible, so make sure you get sufficient tiles to give you spares and check each one carefully so you don't have a visible imperfection.”
