“Ordered these tiles about 3 weeks before our bathroom was due to be done. Unfortunately they were out of stock in the warehouse, but I got a call the next day to inform me of that. Received regular updates about when they would be back in stock and dispatched. Had to place a second order for some more as I had miscalculated and they arrived within 48 hours!
The tiles themselves are lovely and glossy. They look great in our bathroom and we chose a pale grey grout which compliments them really well. Due to variations of grey in them, we found it easy to match other bathroom items to the tiles. Really pleased with our choice.”
“On the plus side my bathroom fitter was impressed with the quality of the tiles, their ease of working and their value. I liked the look too. Plus we really appreciated them turning up on time and the Tile Mountain customer services department being able to inform us of their likely arrival time on the day, when we asked.
On the downside, some arrived with broken corners - he estimated a box to a box and a half in an order of twenty boxes. A few replacements would have been appreciated but as either the broken tiles had been used or discarded I was unable to supply photographs of the damage so all the firm was prepared to do as a gesture of goodwill was to offer half-price delivery on a reorder.”
“The tiles are fine, the price is good, the online telephone person is polite and helpful. BUT the tiles have to be delivered and here the thing crashes down. No warning when booking delivery date that there might be delays. No information on day of booked delivery about time of delivery. NO DELIVERY on day of booked delivery. On phoning Tile Mountain told THEY HAVE NO WAY OF CONTACTING DELIVERY PEOPLE. My bathroom fitters have to be paid on date booked while they twiddle their thumbs with no tiles arrived. The following day - ditto - there was NO information, no text, no phone call to say when tiles would arrive. The TileMountain person appeared to be struggling manfully with desperate calls such as mine, judging from the wait to get through to her. Eventually the tiles arrived unannounced and with no apology.
Tiles fine, but the anxiety over delivery failure is NOT worth it. Better go to B and Q or local tile place because it works out cheaper in the end and you might survive a heart attack better.”
