“I was very happy with the Rectified White Gloss Porcelain Floor Tiles that I purchased from Tiles247 previously for the upstairs bathroom. So, I returned for more of the same tile, together with adhesive and grout, when reflooring the downstairs bathroom. Assembling the order was easy, using the convenient calculator on the website to order the correct quantity. The order was delivered on time and the tiles look great. Unfortunately, during fitting, it was discovered that one of the tiles was chipped. We had sufficient tiles to replace the damaged one, but it did make me think that they could be better packaged. Four 600mm x 600mm tiles per pack are heavy, and a thin cardboard wrapping provides little protection to the edges and no protection to the corners at all. A notice on the shrink-wrapped pallet requires that any damage is reported within 24 hours of delivery and photographed before removing the order from the pallet. In practice, this is impossible as individually inspecting each tile requires them to be removed from both the pallet and their cardboard packaging! Particularly inconvenient if the order is delivered several days before laying. However, they were great value and the result is excellent. I will certainly recommend, and buy from, Tiles247 in the future.”
“Look very nice. Tiles seem quite brittle so time will tell if they last well. Ordered 17 metres squared and quite a few were chipped in the corners. Luckily my tiler could lay what was needed without having to use the damaged parts.”
