“This is my first time using porcelain slabs, so I don't know how they compare to other slabs. They are very strong. I managed to drop a batch onto the concrete pathway, without any damage to the slabs whatsoever.
The slabs have a good mix of patterns, which can be randomly laid together to create a good overall effect. The end result is a very nice patio that has transformed the property, is good value for money, and is far superior to using concrete slabs in my opinion.”
“The Icarus Beige Porcelain Outdoor Slabs have really transformed our old uneven patio.
The finish is superb and of only a slight profile, meaning tables and chairs don't rock now because of an uneven surface!
There were a couple of surface issues on two slabs out of 50, but these were duly exchanged without quibble.
I opted for a pedestal installation due to drains and lighting.
The tiles are actually 590/590mm instead of the 600x600mm quoted, but still managed to lay them all without cutting a tile!
Cheers, Tile Mountain.”
“Never laid a patio before so was a bit worried at using porcelain. Borrowed a water fed still saw which worked a treat, I tried a grinder with a diamond blade at first but found it chipped.. The tiles can also chip on the edges and corners, so be careful when handling them.
I love the colour and texture- the marbling effect is great for hiding footprints and dirt, glad I didn’t use plain tiles.”
