“Great set. I didn’t know I liked plum sake, but I do! I had the sakes as appertifs and made tipsy plums with the plum sake by marinating sliced fresh plums all day and served them over vanilla bean ice cream, with a glass of plum sake on the side-yum! You won’t be disappointed.”
Yum - we love umeshu (plum wine/plum sake) too! Every household used to have a home-made one, and a lot of breweries have at least one kind of umeshu to offer. We're so happy you enjoyed it.
“One of my best purchases.
Mio is better than champagne as I don’t get a headache nor do I experience the other usual hangover symptoms of Champagne. So glad to have discovered it.
Choya is so tasty and everyone I’ve poured it for was delightfully confused and intrigued. I’m exposing my entire family to sake and it’s blowing their minds. Ever time I visit I’m sure to send my Tippsy sake ahead and always include a fee bottles of sparkling.
Seaside is an squired taste and I fell hard for it after the second time. It’s packs a punch and I appreciate that.”
“Mio is a personal favorite as it has as simple and sweet taste that everyone seems to enjoy, Fukucho Seaside has a refreshing citrus taste (yet slightly reminds me of Merlot), and I haven’t tried the Choya yet, as we’re opening that for New Years (as of today, it seems to be sold out).
Out of the two sets I purchased, this one’s an easy favorite.”
