Hi Tacy,
Thank you so much for your review.
Kuroushi is one of the dry sake, and Kenbishi is similar taste with it.
If you would like to compare, you can feel part of similar taste.
“Opened bottle 4 months after bottling, as per date on label. Appearance: pale yellow, clarity is clear. Mild nose with moderate hints of ripe banana and subtle hints of cereal. Body is mild to medium, with a lingering aftertaste of bright acidity, as per the description. I read that this was a good example of a sake with strong umami, but I did not find it particularly strong. Paired well with a meat and rice dish. Would buy again. Very cool label!”
“I enjoyed this sake -- rice flavor is a little more subtle than in some other junmai but, as the description says, there's a really nice finishing touch of acidity.
That acidity allowed it to work well with a miso-based nabe, and I would try this sake with various meals.”
“For me this sake was just okay. The description said it has a "balanced rice sweetness and umami," however I could taste more of the savory flavor here. It was enjoyable enough, but again, not stellar.”
