I tend to enjoy richer sake, and this hit the spot of being beautifully smooth, elegant, rich, and umami in one go. Very enjoyable.

Light tropical notes. A really clean, delicious junmai ginjo. Enjoyed, chilled, with "ton jiru" and "kara age" last night, but think it's nicest by itself!

Great for the price and great when chilled but had a bit of an overwhelming sweetness.

Very fun tropical feel to this sake. I actually used it in some cocktails and it worked well.

Received in a subscription box. Strong nose with some tropical fruits lurking. Complimented by an almost peppery finish and lingering tropical fruit (again). I'm thinking guava and pineapple. Straightforward but really quite excellent. Medium textured, sweet, and puts a smile on my face.

This saké is a crowd favorite but it was harder for me to discern. Perhaps the elegant blue bottle mis-set my expectations or I’m still a tasting novice. The aroma was very light in an ochōkō. On tasting, it produced a fruity heat, revealing a hardy side. The finish was fruit-forward and yummy, especially when mixed with air. I tasted banana and apple. Things got much more interesting when I tasted it from a wine glass. The aromas blossomed. It still had the heat but the flavors were rounded and delicate. Got me researching Riedel saké glasses to invest in!

Nice flavor - not too sweet - interesting hint of pineapple.
