“As I wrote in my review of the Jozen "Pink," I felt both tasted very booze-forward. I like plenty of other sakes that have 16-17% alcohol content, so that isn't the issue. I felt the alcohol flavor wasn't balanced enough with the more subtle fruit notes. It's a pass for me.”
“I liked this sake, but didn't love it. I felt the taste of alcohol somewhat overpowered the subtle fruit notes. I usually like an alcohol-forward drink, but somehow this wasn't stellar. I would consider buying it again if it was ever on sale.”
