Dassai 39 has a nice aroma and clear color. Very smooth, slightly sweet tastes of fruit. The finish is clean and long. Great with food or alone.

We really love this sake! Incredibly smooth and nuanced. Layers of subtle tropical notes with an undertone of banana leaf and clean finish.

This a great sake. In the glass it shimmers with pale green/gold colors. The nose is rich with fruity scents, with melon the dominant scent. The taste of this sake is amazing. It is so smooth on the tongue you want to drink the entire bottle at one sitting. Apple and melon fill your mouth, followed by a smooth long lasting tail. This is a sake to be savoured.

Every Dassai sake I have tried so far has been excellent. It must be the reason it is so often sold out. A polishing rate of below 50 yields a whole other flavor. If you’ve never tried a Junmai Daiginjo, try this, or start with the Dassai 45. With each lower rate, it only gets better. I’m waiting for a 29 now!
