“This was an interesting sake to have because of its flavor notes. The taste was pretty fruity with a variety of flavors ranging from passionfruit, a slight kiwi, and strawberry to round things out before some umami in the finish. I thought it was okay but people who like fruitier sakes would probably really enjoy it.”
“Got this in my September box, tried it cold so far. This has a very interesting taste that I've never had in sake before, something kind of warm and spicy at the tip of my tongue but nothing I can put a specific flavor to. The "baking spices" in the tasting notes isn't joking! It's not bad at all, but not as smooth as I like my sake to be.”
