“Extremely dry, which I enjoy, but this one has a radish-like spicy sharpness to it that I wasn't really into. It mellowed a bit over the few days that I had the bottle open in the fridge. I drank this chilled and at room temp and found the spicy radish vibe was stronger at room temp.”
“My review has the tale of two tastings. The first glass hit me with the dryness, so dry that the only flavor coming through was a bitterness that made this less than enjoyable to drink. I put it aside and decided to come back to this bottle the next night. I hesitantly tried it again fully expecting it to reinforce that I would just need to write this one off as being a solid disappointment. Well, if I had not poured this myself, I would not have believed it was from the same bottle. It was completely transformed. It started soft and light and then transitioned to a rich and flavorful body that met the tasting notes of baking spices. It was very pleasant and I was left wondering what happened the first night. If you try this one, I recommend opening the bottle a day or two before drinking it and/or decanting it as it drinks better after being allowed to breathe.”

“I love dry sake and this was exactly what I wanted it to be. Overall characteristics are a pleasing bite, it's complex, dry, and has a great subtle yeastiness. There is a creaminess that comes from the apple note that I quite like. There is a lingering umami finish. I usually drink sake warm and cold to evaluate its qualities but I skipped heating this time since that was not indicated in the profile. I enjoyed it and think it is a good price point.”

“This is one of our favorites! This sake is delicious. It has wonderful fruit notes with rich umami. The texture is full and the spice aftertaste going down does pack some heat in a great way. We will definitely be buying this again!”
