The best dai ginjo anywhere near this price point. My wife and I describe it as "honeydew rainwater" and it's absolutely fantastic. Every one of our friends we have introduced this bottle to, are immediately in love with it, including people who insist they don't like sake. Btw, I am not an investor in Wakatake and I'm only getting like 140 points for this review. Meanwhile, you can buy this bottle for

Aromatic sake (gets more aromatic as it sits there), smells and tastes of lychee fruit with some sweetness and soft round mouthfeel. Really like this one.

The fruity flavors present in this sake can not be beat. It is complex but delightfully aromatic.

For a Daiginjo, this sake has a medium toward rich taste, with sweet first-taste, and slightly richer and dense finish, then very minor bitter after-taste. I had it cold, which makes it perfect. Do not have it over ice, if you have a sake bottle with ice chamber, use it, or you can just put the bottle into fridge. But do not over-chill it.

Bless you. Wakatake “Onikoroshi” Junmai Daiginjo "Demon slayer" is the most delicious sake I have ever had. Everything is available locally is either rice or plum. This dry rich subtle brew is made with melon. I have not tasted it in 10 years and you were the only place that I trusted to give a try. Hugs, kisses, bows & most importantly KANPAI!
