“I feel this is a must experience sake. It is an iconic ginjo and is even featured as an example of the category on the Tippsy site. Personally, I was excited to try this offering after seeing this brand win several awards at the U.S. Sake Appraisal. I was not let down and am glad I gave it a try as it exceeded my expectations. It started with its delicious fragrance. While I did not get as much of a floral nose as other reviewers mentioned, I was greeted with what I would describe as being closer to juicy pineapple. From that, I was expecting this to be a sweet and fruity sake. Surprisingly, it turned out to be more restrained and the sweetness more subtle. For me, the level of sweetness was just right and worked well with the pleasant medium bodied mouthfeel. As I was enjoying this, I would look down at my glass and wonder how it was already empty. This is really easy to enjoy - you have been warned. Overall, if you are looking for something unique or simply want to try a fantastic ginjo, you cannot go wrong with this one.”
