Very clean taste and very refreshing. Definitely a quality Sake but at a reasonable price. I took advantage of an offered discount and was not disappointed. I will definitely be purchasing more!

Very clean flavor and just a touch dry. Great sake!

This is a delicious, dry daiginjo that I enjoy when I'm having fattier or creamier foods as the acidity and dryness cuts through the fatty flavors well.

Everything you would expect from a junmai dang I join. Crisp finish, very smooth and leaves you wanting “ just one more”. We served chilled with shrimp, spiced mushrooms and sushi. Delightful and would be a good choice for even heartier foods such as teriyaki’s or Kobe beef. Good value as well. Kompai

Clean, gentle, dry, floral, slight sweetness on the finish, super refreshing! One of the best bottles of sake that I’ve had in a long time!

This is the best sake I’ve ever tasted. It can be quite dangerous because it’s so smooth. The sake is a little dry with a hint of sweetness at the end. Highly recommend it!

Hi Richard, This liquor is so easy to drink. Then, the light dry comes first, and finally it has a refreshing sweet taste. We also have some other Daiginjo sake.

This is a great bottle, especially for those who like a cleaner style of sake with complex fruity aroma. It's a great example of Niigata style sake, slightly reserved but very nuanced. We enjoyed this without food but I would imagine it would be fantastic with sushi or some lighter flavour profile dishes.

Hi Teo, Thank you so much for your review! Hakkaisan is Light & Dry sake, but it not so Dry. I believe it pair with Sushi/Sashimi | Octopus/Squid | Fish! Kanpai!

On the nose, this Daiginjo is not as floral as others. Easy drinking with medium depth of flavor. Not a bad sake, but there are better offerings in this price range

Hi 02wrx. Thank you so much for your review. Hakkaisan is kind of dry sake, so we have some more sweet and clean sake. We also have NIGORI which is sweet sake BOX set, so if you would like to order some more, you can order it from on our website. Thank you so much!
