“This sake is delightfully delicious! After the first few sips I was surprised by that special liveliness of a nama sake. I went back and checked this bottleās page for confirmation as I had not noticed that detail when I purchased it. The nose is light with a hint of fruit and the taste is on the sweeter side, though I felt it was well balanced and not overly so. With each new bottle I try, it gets more challenging to pick a favorite, but I think this one is up there. It is definitely one I would like to revisit. I hope you try it and enjoy this one as much as I did.”
“Very easy drinking for a sake with a high alcohol percentage. As described, this sake is very fruit forward with strong notes of mango and pineapple as well as other tropical flavors.”
“This is very nice sake that is just a little too sweet for my tastes. The bottle is beautiful!
The label, rather that admitting it is sweet (no rating for sweet/dry), addresses this as stating it is "fruity".
I can easily see serving this to others to impress them with how good it is, but for me, I will pass.”
“It was mild and dry but not too dry. It was smooth and easy on the palate. Very good for drinking by itself or while eating.
I give it a three because it give it room for improvement and time for me to try others. I have only tried these and need to learn more before I can place it. I will have to come back again.
Although I did find it delicious and not overpowering.”
“Funny that the cheapest sake I got is going to be my go to for when I want a sushi pairing. The light fruity flavor goes not get in the way of my meal while the slightly dry aspect helps cleanse the palte for another bite.”
