“I was prepared not to enjoy the sake thinking it would be too sweet and I ordered it as part of an all Nama tasting I was doing... thus far it has been my favorite and at a very attractive price point. I could see this being a daily drinker, esp during the summer. The sourness quality is what makes it for me and is a refreshing complement to the strawberry. Now don't be leery of the strawberry (as I originally was)... this does not drink like a sweet wine (although it is a bit sweet if that makes sense) and instead the strawberry provides a richness in the mouth that is terrific. This drinks very well stand alone which is a quality I enjoy in my sakes. I will order 6 more bottles of this to keep on hand for this summer. A real pleasure!”
“I eyed this a couple of times before putting it in the cart. Even after it arrived, I was reluctant to give it a try. I expected this to taste like a flavored sake. It ended up being one of my favorites from my order. The flower yeast gives this sake a sweetness but it is very subtle. I would not be able to place the flavor as strawberry in a blind taste. Will be ordering again soon.”
