Amabuki “Gin no Kurenai” Reviews

4.7 Rating 25 Reviews
Another fun find from Amabuki, though the Sunflower is still my favorite. The unique color draw a lot of conversation when sharing. Raspberry notes an floral smell to it make it friendly to wine drinkers. Sweet but not cloyingly so. Great starter to a summer meal outdoors. I'll definitely get it again and an all around fun and different sake.

This is a very unexpected color and flavor profile for sake. It's not my favorite, however the uniqueness of it in flavor and body has moved me to purchase more bottles to keep on hand to share with friends. I know they'll be just as surprised and pleased by it as I was.

Hi Kristan, Thank you so much for your review. Amabuki “Gin no Kurenai” is one of the famous sake as the Rose sake. It taste raspberry and cassis and a pop of acidity, so it pair with some fruits or aperitif. It was made in Saga, so if you would this sake, we also have Saga assorted set on our website.

Super intriguing sake! Juicy muscat grape flavor notes, almost no bite while still packing a punch. The pink color is gorgeous and playful. I feel like the brewer really had fun making this one.

Interesting. As described this is a sweet sake with some undertones of fruit. The sweetness is right on the line for me. The sweetness is absolutely there but not overpowering for the first glass or two. It does build, however, so I would agree with the recommendation that this is an aperitif or a dessert sake for those that like just a hint of sweet.
