Kikusui “Funaguchi” (3-pack) Reviews

Enjoyed all 3 of these! The "Aged Red" was my favorite, not only very fruity and full bodied, but @ 19%abv has a nice hit to it! Will definitely order again!

This set is perfect for a tasting! The can comes with resealable plastic covers so that you do not have to drink all three in one sitting. Rather I samples all three and then selected one to finish first. I drank two in one night and I gotta say they definitely pack a punch in the buzz department. You do need to drink soon after opening since they aren't pasteurized, but they are so tasty that you will want to do that anyway.

Flavorful, refreshing, a bit sweet--a nice change from so many dry & extra-dry sake--& definitely heavy on the alcohol. Great with yakiniku or other assertively meaty dishes. For a booze-hound such as I, a winner!

An excellent introduction for the Nama curious. High in alcohol content and intensity. Not for everyone.

This sake is pretty high ABV and it tastes like it. I like any sake that is portioned into a can and the labels are appealing. It just tastes a little too boozey for me.
