Suigei “Koiku 54” Reviews

4.6 Rating 24 Reviews
The flavours are subtle - perhaps some citrus, and a faint fruit taste on the palate. It also seemed just slightly viscous to me and not a super clean finish. Overall, I would say it's a good sake for the price, and also is a good sake.

Flavorful and dry, just the kind sake I love. Goes great with salmon, chicken and other Japanese style meals.

I'm a big fan of Suigei's Drunken Whale, so I was excited to try this one. It has a very unique tropical, orange like note that was a big too overpowering for me, but I would recommend if you prefer your sake chilled and want something a little different.

Light, dry and tropical. An easy drinking sake that is great to eat with seafood, sushi and even heavier meals. On the drier side.
