What an interesting nigori! It had a sweet nutty taste, without being sickly sweet or grainy. A little creamy, almost like a yogurt drink. I quite liked it.

Delicious savory sake. Mild nuttiness and slight sweetness really make it incredible.

Very Smooth. Floral Nose, a bit creamy and umami flavors. Mainly savory but a nice sweet balance

Hi Geoffrey Marschall, Thank you so much for your review, Tengumai is so smooth and dry sake. If you would like to drink some other sweet sake, I recommend Dassai 45 which is fruity and smooth sake.

Interesting amber color, which provides an initial clue to the slightly sweet & tongue-coating butterscotch flavor notes, with earthy mushroom aroma notes on the finish. A nice complement to a bowl of miso tonkatsu ramen!

I had it both with a meal and on its own. Definitely preferred it with a meal. Was great with pizza. A keeper on my list..but somewhere in the middle of my list.
