“This junmai is special. Its aroma is fruity and inviting, offering expressive notes of orange cream. It has a premium, exclusive vibe with a slight color tinge in the glass. There is a rich dryness in taste with just a hint of sweetness. This saké is charming and a delicate intro to the beauty of the saké spirit.”
Hi Sunaina,
Thank you so much for your review.
Nanbu Bijin “Tokubetsu Junmai” is one of the most popular sake on our website because it is easy to drink one. This sake is so much fruity and rich taste. If you like this sake I believe you might also like the Suigei Tokubetsu Junmai which is light and dry sake, but Fennel flavor is a little bit stronger than Nanbu bijin.
Hi,
Thank you so much for your review.
Nanbu Bijin “Tokubetsu Junmai” is so fruity and smooth sake. The sake taste depends on temperature. Some of the sake is good for a room or warm temperature. This sake is good to drink with cold.

“Technically, I’d give a 4.5 for this sake. The bright citrus notes are tempered with just a hint of spiced pear, and the mouthfeel is wonderfully rich. I wish I had waited for warmer weather to enjoy it with sugar snap peas on my back porch, but it was still very good with homemade wonton soup on this chilly February day.”
“This sake is perfect for spring time. Refreshing and citrusy. Beautiful notes of mandarin orange and a slight sweet aftertaste. I enjoyed it with a plate of Brie cheese and dates, a really lovely combination. I liked it best as it warmed up, just slightly chilled.”
