Less sweet. I like dry beverages.

Dry, smooth, with pear notes. Super easy-drinking, without any ‘edges’. Pairs very well with sushi and sashimi (as I confirmed at dinner tonight!) — a new addition to my list of favourites!

Hi Stu - we like to think this is a foodie sake, coming from foodie prefecture Fukuoka. Kampai to you and thank you so much for your review!

This sake has a blast of fruit that is very much in your face, however it stands out from some of the typical melon forward sakes that I am used to. There is an extra layer of tartness and complexity that I do not get with some other daiginjos. I had this sake as an aperitif and with cod, both of which were delicious.

I loved this one and went great with the fried oyster bento I paired this with. This one strongly resembles a white wine in terms of having a sweet, honeysuckle flavor with hints of lavender. There was a slight sweet yeast smell but it was brief and didn't take away from the experience.

If you usually have a white wine or Reisling at dinner, try this sake! Initial taste has a slight metal taste NOT UNPLEASANT,that mellows to a slightly pear like flavor. My wife, who usually doesn’t enjoy sake or wine loved it!

Very nice - my new favorite moderately-priced sake. A little on the sweet side, which I prefer. Definitely going to be re-ordering.
