“A great deal for the price, and I've only gotten one that I didn't love drinking (and as I said, I used it for cooking and was amazing in that). You'll find bottles that can suit almost any meal.”
“Of the four sakes we have tasted we liked the Ohyama Tomizu best. Very crisp with a hint of cedar. We also liked the Denshin "Yuki" which was very smooth. We found the Wakatake "Onikoroshi" Junmai Genshu overly sharp, perhaps from its high alcohol content. The reason for only three stars is that we don't care for sweet sake. I wish we could customize our seasonal boxes to omit types we have tried but don't like. For us that would be dessert and sparkling sakes.”
