absolutely the best way to try different sakes with detailed information accompanying each bottle to better understand the sake.

Great selection. I enjoyed cold Shirakabegura Kimoto well balanced and nutty notes, Kinoene smooth with floral notes, Takeno Tsuyu light dry with a fruity note and clean finish and Niwa no Uguisu with a floral note with hints of pear. My preference for Tateyama is at 90-100oF range enhancing a sweet finishing of this crispy honjozo with a mild fruity aroma. Toyo Bijin is very dry for my preference

I really enjoy the surprising flavors and way the sake demands to be sipped so slowly.

Such lovely selections, each different and fun to try out. While I have my favorites, there is not a bad selection in the bunch. My only wish is that they had a tasting guide video for all six, as they do with the introductory box, to host a little tasting party at home. But the short videos on each provide great context.
