This has become one of my go-to sakes as it is excellent for the price. To me there is a slight anise scent to it, but I don't taste it much (I taste more of the melon notes). Excellent chilled. Will buy it again and again.

This sake is dry, yet not overly so as I can taste the apple flavor. Excellent, especially for the price. I have bought this twice and plan to come back for more.

Smooth at first and aromatic notes, then sweet finish. So lovely characteristic of the Aizu area sake!

This is an excellent sake. It is a pale gold color in the glass. When sniffed the scent of anise fills your nose. When tasted anise is once again present. This sake starts very smooth, but finishes with a peppery tail. This is a sake to enjoy with a meal or on its own.

After tasting this sake (~45°F) from the 300ml bottle I ordered three 720ml bottles. Very fruity and smooth. To me it had a distinct melon flavor. It was on of the best I've had in quite some time. Personally, I like my sake first without any food. I'm sure it will pair well with food.

This is a delightful saké! It has a strong vanilla smell and a light vanilla taste as well as a pricey undertone. Pleasantly sweet and dry. I used this to make miso meat sauce Pasta. It turned out wonderfully. It's cheap so very good candidate for getting smashed or cooking!
