“Of the sweeter Sakes I've tasted, I like this one the best(so far;>!). Reminds me a little of a light Moscato, my fav White Wine. Try it if you have a "sweet tooth". It'd make a great spritzer for hot Summer days too!”
“I had read that a Junmai Sake could pair well with pizza. We needed a quick meal, and there we had a California Kitchen 4 Cheese pizza in the freezer. Wow! What a great pairing. Tasted it at about 70 degrees. I would call the pairing a +2. The sake brought out the richness and sweetness of the cheese, and the cheese gave both richness and complexity to a sake that nevertheless remained light on the palate. The first one from our first sake box. Can't wait to try another "unusual" pairing.”
“Had with donburi of maguro, ikura and tamago yaki on New Year's Day. Definitely some sweetness, but clean and crisp, so really went well with meal. Well-balanced. Quality junmai ginjo with flavor -- not like drinking water. Maybe not everybody's taste, but I love it!”
