Yuki no Bosha “Old Cabin” Reviews

I had the pleasure of enjoying this sake with Omakase. I stood out amongst several very good sakes. The flavors are deep and rich, yet very drinkable a bright.

Yuki No Bosha can't miss! An elevated yamahai, it paired perfectly with a ginger soy ribeye and roasted root veggies. Here's hoping this sticks around to be in our regular order.

My wife and I had the immense pleasure of enjoying this brewery's "Cabin in the Snow" Junmai Ginjo several years ago in Akita at a snowy hot spring. So I decided to give the Yamahai a try this time and was not disappointed. It does have some of the Yamahai complexity that you come for, a little funk and a bit chewy, but overall it is delightful, bright, and can be enjoyed on its own or with Japanese or other cuisines.

Not your typical yamahai sake because it doesn't present the yamahai tasting notes. Super easy to drink and very delicious.

This is (and always has been) a unique but awesome sake that I always enjoy drinking. It was one of the first ‘fancy’ sakes that I’d ever had way back probably 8-9 years ago and I’m pleased to say it’s just as good now as it was then :)
