This root grapple bucket has a hook and pin connection and fits any tractor equipped with a hook and pin mounting system. It is ideal for landscaping, land clearing, and removing roots and debris from your farm, garden, or yard. The serrated leading edge has a 0.5" top tooth thickness and 0.375" bottom tooth thickness for exceptional grip and soil penetration. Equipped with 3000 PSI cylinders, this bucket is great for jobs that require powerful lifting, including moving silage, brush, hay bales, and more, and has a cylinder back stopper to prevent the upper clamps from hyperextending or getting stuck in an upright position. Built with durable steel, this economy root bucket comes with hoses and ag couplers.
This lightweight model makes easy work of ripping up small roots and brush. It is not recommended for heavier duty commercial-grade tasks like digging or pulling trees, rocks, and heavy roots.

“Grapple works great. The grapple did ship without 2 R clips for a pin. Customer service was quick to reply, but only sent one. Not a big deal. I had to change the quick-connects to fit my 1/4" fittings. This doesn't change the speed of the opening or closing. It is sometimes tricky to attach and detach the hydraulic lines. Make sure to release the pressure before detaching by turning off tractor and moving lever back and forth. Otherwise your left pressing on the tip and getting hydraulic fluid all over.”

“The root grapple I received worked very well for my needs. I had to add a third function to my JD front end loader with an electrically operated hydraulic solenoid. I was able to grapple logs heavy enough to raise the backend of my tractor off of the ground. I’m very satisfied with your product.”

“The fit is not perfect but it works. In fact it gets the job done really well. The size and weight are perfect for my JD 4120. Using it for cleaning up loose branches, tree waste and light root clearing. The build looks a little back alley but it meets the challenge. Price and availability make it a good purchase.”

“Disappointed with the operation of grappler, you have to be very attentive to the third function to get grappler to operate, low flow hydraulic cylinders are used. Contacting customer service and talking with someone who knows anything about their product is a nightmare.”

“Grapple fits fine and loader frame handles it good. Still have to have two hyd hose made to reach the back of the tractor where my hook up is before I can try it out.”
