Economy Series Skid Steer Root Grapple Bucket 48" Reviews

4.7 Rating 40 Reviews
Read Titan Attachments Reviews

With a universal SSQA connection, this root grapple bucket installs quickly and easily on any skid steer or tractor with a universal skid steer quick tach system. It is ideal for landscaping, land clearing, and removing roots and debris from your farm, garden, or yard and has a 32" opening. The serrated leading edge has a 0.5" top tooth thickness and 0.375" bottom tooth thickness for exceptional grip and soil penetration. Equipped with 3000 PSI cylinders, this attachment is great for jobs that require powerful lifting, including moving silage, brush, hay bales, and more, and has a cylinder back stopper to prevent the upper clamps from hyperextending or getting stuck in an upright position. Built with durable steel, this economy root bucket comes with hoses and flat-face couplers.
This lightweight model is not recommended for heavier duty commercial-grade tasks like digging or pulling trees, rocks, and heavy roots.

This grapple bucket is limited in its ability to pick up anything. If it is a log longer then 48” then it will pick it up fine. If it is any kind of brush there is only one tine on each side of the top that just allows the brush to fall out. In addition this grapple protrudes forward quite far making the log weight very far forward limiting lift power. This distance would be great for brush if the top had more tines to bite down with to hold everything in. I have cleaned up several trees felled so far and getting up the limbs is very aggravating as they keep falling out. Overall construction seams very study and thick metal but i did bend one of the top tooth tines on a large log almost immediately. One of the 2 bolts for the hose spring was stripped out when it came. So far it has worked fine with hust one bolt

Exactly what I needed for my Bobcat tractor. Perfect size for my CT 2040. Should have bought it sooner. Quality is good. Easy to use.

I bent the tips moving big long because of an uneven grap on my part. I ended up cutting the 2 tips off making them shorter and pointed. The original tip was great pulling logs out of stacks with the corner of grapple but 4k logs bent them easy. Mostly my fault but quick fix.

Overall I’m satisfied but I had 2 leaks at the cylinder. It was because they were only hand tightened. You might want improve your quality control. The company I work for would not tolerate simple mistakes like this. It wasn’t a big deal to fix but it should have pressure tested before it was shipped
