Extreme Root Grapple Rake Attachments 72" Reviews

4.7 Rating 105 Reviews
Read Titan Attachments Reviews

These Extreme Root Grapple Rakes are ideal for picking up and moving rocks, logs, brush, debris, and other oddly shaped or hard-to-lift materials. The extra-wide opening of these rake-style grapples make pushing and gripping large loads easy. Plus, our design allows this equipment to fit with almost all haulers, loaders, and tractors. The implements include twin 3,000 PSI cylinders, greaseable pins, bushings, hoses, and couplers. Over time, and with constant use, the bucket teeth can get damaged or worn out. This does not have to mean the end of this incredible piece of hardware. We have made it so the bucket teeth can be easily replaced.

The grappler/rake saved my back this fall. I had no trouble handling 10' logs with a 12" diameter. The only problem I had was the very first load of brush I moved, I got a Hydraulic leak on one of the connectors to my skidsteer. Not sure of the cause yet, need to take the top hose off to either tighten or replace the hose. Hoses are too exposed.

Everything works as it should, seems heavy built, should last a long time.

This is a great attachment at a very reasonable price. However, I would be willing to pay a little extra in order to have the hydraulic connections and hoses protected and kept safe from being broken so easily. I had to modify the attachment and protect these areas before use. All heavy duty equipment like this needs proper protection for these areas simply due to the type of work they are used for. Other than that one area, great piece of equipment at a very good price.

I have used this grapple extensively on a Cat 299D Skid Steer. It has worked well with no major issues. The drawback is in the workmanship. The pipe stabilizers between the teeth are welded in crooked, the teeth are uneven, and the entire inside of the one grapple was missing paint. Well built but by no means square and true.

Came in short order and in good shape but what cha expect to happen to a big chunk of steel . Built well but hookup was a problem because of their use of flat nosed hydraulics and had to buy Pioneer to complete the installation . Works as it should .

Great overall, 1 potential problem. The hydronic hose splitter is vulnerable to catastrophic failure due to exposure of being hit, the splitter is being held by a 3/8 welded bolt that is unprotected. The Fix. Take a peice of 6 inch by 1/4 Strap 16 to 18 inches long and weld it in front of Splitter to protect it from limbs and branches this would make it the best I have ever seen. PS i am doing this myself on my new grapple to eliminate possible future problems.
