HD Root Grapple Rake Attachment Fits John Deere Loaders 72" (Recommended for Series 4 Tractors) Reviews

4.7 Rating 38 Reviews
Read Titan Attachments Reviews

The HD Root Grapple Rake is ideal for picking up and moving rocks, logs, brush, debris, and other odd-shaped or hard-to-lift materials. The extra-wide opening of the rake-style grapple makes pushing and gripping large loads easy. Plus, our design allows this equipment to fit tractor loaders equipped with the hook and pin style mounting system. The implement includes twin 3,000 PSI cylinders, greaseable pins, bushings, hoses, couplers, and pin-on bucket teeth. Over time and with constant use, the bucket teeth can get damaged or worn out. This does not have to mean the end of this incredible piece of hardware. We have made it so the bucket teeth can be easily replaced.

I love the grapple it’s an absolute monster. A ballast is a necessity. My only complaint is the don’t say you a 3rd SCV to operate it. (Another hydraulic hook up, range in price from 1k if you install it to 1500/2000 if paid to install it)

After looking around for a high quality grapple. I made the right decision to purchase the 72" Titan grapple to mount on my John Deere 5205. I have now used it for 3 days pulling stumps, moving wood piles and debris piles. I do suggest having a counterweight on the back. This grapple definitely will push the limits of a tractor. It is a workhorse. It is very sturdy and well built. I am very pleased with it.

This grapple is as advertised; Well built and operates as it should. I would definitely recommend it. You need to plan on having adequate counter weight on the rear of your tractor because it is heavy. Also, you will need to plan on installing a hydraulic diverter or run hoses from your rear remotes like I did.

Ordered this on a Saturday and arrived via truck on Monday. I haven't hooked the unit up yet, but it looks to be a very well built and nice looking piece of equipment

Bought this grapple for the 8 acres of woods and ravine I take care of. It is a workhorse and probably cut my cleanup time by 1/3 ! Now when I see a pile of brush, I don’t have to coax it to where I want it, I grab it and clamp it and take it to the burn pile ! I’ve lifted some pretty heavy stuff ! I added ballast to rear tires of my 3720 JD and weight box ! I built a hose minder to keep hoses in safe place ! Would highly recommend !
