29" Log Grapple Attachment Reviews

4.2 Rating 36 Reviews
Read Titan Attachments Reviews

The 29" Log Grapple Attachment is ideal for land clearing and logging operations where time and money are crucial. The grapple is compatible with tractors such as Kubota, New Holland, Ford 8n, 9n, and Kioti equipped with the SSQA universal skid steer style quick connect. With the Log Grapple, you can efficiently clear and move fallen and cut-down logs. With the impressive 42" opening height of the jaws and the length to the front of the tines being 33", you will quickly move more significant amounts of logs, saving you multiple trips. Smaller logs are not a problem either, as the jaws can close past each other to a narrow gap of 6". With a 3,000 PSI hydraulic cylinder, you can safely secure your logs in transit. This is the ideal attachment for any logging operation.

It handles logs well enough. Not great for brush, but that's not what it's intended for. Also usable for round bales, but doesn't quite open wide enough. All in all I'm happy with it for an all around grapple until I can swing a second brush grapple. Easy enough to assemble. Be careful how you route the hoses. I had to spin the grapple cylinder so the grease fitting didn't rub the hoses (also not difficult)

Haven't used it yet. During shipment two bolts, screws, and washers got loose and were missing. I contacted Titan Attachments & they replaced the 2 missing bolts and and screws with washers. I ordered an extendned ( long ) grease fitting for the top of the Grapple, as the grease fitting that comes with the Grapple is not proper. I couldn't get my grease gun head into the tiny slot. The other grease fittings are OK. Grapple looks very sturdy and heavy duty. I'll review later when I get it working. Customer Service was very helpful and expedient on my concerns.

I have a Kubota m5660. The grapple works great for putting logs on the mill.

Overall a decent design but with some issues. When the grapple arm is fully open, there is no positive stop to prevent the gussets from being bent. This is a problem if you run it on a skid steer. Eventually it will RIP out the gussets. Fabricating a stop would fix the issue. Also, the grapple arm is smooth allowing logs to slip from the jaws. Serrated teeth on the arm would really help the holding of logs in the vertical position.
