Backhoe and Fronthoe Thumb for Excavator Reviews

4.6 Rating 49 Reviews
Read Titan Attachments Reviews

The Mechanical Thumb for a Backhoe or Fronthoe attaches to the boom frame and has five possible positions to help stabilize materials that are hard to control. Simply fold it back or slide it away when not in use.

Please measure your bucket before ordering to ensure a proper match. A mismatched thumb will damage your backhoe, as larger backhoes have more bucket force. For example: if you mount a 25" thumb on a hoe that requires a 31", you will probably bend or break your equipment. Ensure that this thumb is at least the length of your bucket when measured from boom to the teeth, or the warranty may void if damage occurs.

Like the fronthoe itself, you just need to work on sending all the parts needed when you ship. Still don’t have all the parts I need, but am able to make do without.

Heavy Duty fit my excavator with minor figuring out, if you can't figure it out,you shouldn't be using this equipment in the first place.

I am very pleased with the backhoe thumb I purchased (but a bit disappointed that it didn't come with installation instructions). Thank goodness for YouTube!

Let's me first say, I am an abusive user of equipment so with that said, I bent the Thumb my first go at it and cannot get the pins to move. Positive side. It held 4,000lbs for awhile lol
