For the price, no regrets. This is the first stump bucket I've used, so I can't really make a comparison. I have a Kubota B2301 Cons first - The point on the bucket makes it difficult to push on smaller diameter trees, it tends to slide off unless you're perfectly straight to the tree and the tree doesn't shift to the side. The point probably makes it dig easier than teeth, but if it had a short serrated edge it'd be a lot better in both categories I'd think. - As with a lot of tractor FEL attachments, visibility is terrible. Can't see where the tip is, hard to determine what angle you're coming in at, though you will get a feel for it. Considering this bucket isn't exactly designed to haul efficiently, I'd love to see a couple slots/holes in the back panel so you could peek through. - The bucket is mounted kinda high on the frame, I find myself digging in / dragging the bottom of the FEL bracket when trying to work at shallow angles or coming up out of the ground. The bucket is pretty long, especially for a sub-compact or smaller compact. I think you'd get a lot more power out of it if it were 6-8" shorter. But It's great for breaking up ground, even digging trenches. I'll use it to loosen the ground before going through and stripping it with a normal bucket or pulling material out with a back blade. If you think of it as a power shovel, you'll figure out a whole lot more applications for it than just digging up stumps.

Stump bucket worked like it should. I was using it to remove some small trees that were too big for my tree puller. I dug up the roots on 2 or 3 sides and removed the trees.

A solid tool, as long as you work within your limits. A 40 horsepower tractor will not make this bucket pop a 16" elm stump out of the ground in a matter of minutes. I think it will be much more useful on my property for undercutting small standing trees that I can then push up high for leverage. It does make much faster work of digging around the bigger stumps for more complete grinding. I can see many other uses for it, too. I simply don't have the traction, weight, or breakout force to use this on larger, fresh stumps.

I have a smaller 50 Hp skid steer and this worked well for digging stumps.
