“It was a great price. It is a light duty attachment though. I bent it up in about an hour. It still works but I’m pretty hard on my stuff so I got pretty torn up. But again, I am brutal on most of my equipment”

“If I were rating the shipping, it would be two stars. All kinds of screw ups. But I am reviewing the stump bucket. I mounted it to my BX2680 (everyone should include their tractor model in their review). Since it can do most of what the standard bucket did, I rarely remove it. It is long, strong an mean. I've gotten under stumps and ripped them right out. If I can't, I just keep biting at the roots until it break free. I life logs, railroad ties, cinder block. I made a small trench by pointing it down and floating the FEL and backing up. Nice 8 inch ditch. Where I wanted it deeper, I just put it in there and did it again. No negatives. Recommended”

“So far I’m happy with my stump bucket! I have a lot of small black walnut trees in the 3”- 5” trunk diameter range on my property which I’d like to get rid of. I can usually remove 5-6 per hour with my Kubota L2501 tractor ok. If it was pine trees I might be able to do twice that due to pine’s shallow root system but black walnut has a large deep tap root that takes longer to get out. This stump bucket is almost like having a backhoe which I don’t have, and does a good job digging holes or ditches. I’m glad I bought it!”

“It takes a while to get the hang of using this bucket. You cant plunge straight down and expect it to do much. When you use it at an angle, and allow the cutting edge to draw along underground roots, it does an excellent job cutting through roots. I removed a 6" stump in three passes with this bucket. Normally, it would take a hour or two of digging and sawing. Even my backhoe doesn't get it done this quickly. The only issue I had with the delivery was the pallet it came on was horrible, and lifting it off the truck was a task in itself. Otherwise, highly recommended.”
