The Clamp-On Quick Spade is the perfect tool for landscaping, tree stump removal, planting, etc. We have designed this quick spade to easily clamp onto the front edge of your dirt bucket or slide onto your fork blades with the built-in fork pockets that measure 4.75" x 1.5". The clamping system allows the quick spade combo unit to slide onto buckets with a front cutting edge up to 2" thick or 1.5" if using the clamping puck. The overall length of the spade is 45" with the spade blade measuring 18" wide by 27-1/2" long and is made from 3/8" steel. The frame of the spade will be constructed with 1/4" thick steel. Attaching this spade to your bucket allows you to start digging your trench, and the loose material will collect in your bucket. This saves you time by allowing you to move more material on each pass. With its unique and universal design, you can easily add this digging tool to your arsenal regardless of the make and model of your tractor or skid steer.

“As with any new tool, this takes a bit of finessing as you learn to use it, but I am finding it great for trenching, digging up our wild roses, moving gravel and bull rock and leveling some of my more "lumpy" ground. Great piece of equipment and is heavy duty enough that it will take ranching abuse!”

“awsome tool, I wish I would have purchased when I bought my Tractor. Males quick work out of planting tress and shrubs. Planted 10 6ft Green Giants yesterday using my new Quick Spade. Worked like a charm in heavy compacted clay soil. Was using a one man auger that beat me to death. The loader with Spade made quick work out of the digging portion. Recommend this product.”

“This fits well on my JD compact scoop. It adds to what I can do with a scoop. It is limited some what, appropriately, by the power of the scoop and tractor and even the strength of the scoop itself. After all, it sticks out a ways in front of the scoop and so placed addition stress on cylinders and on the scoop metal. Do not expect miracles. It tightens on nicely. To spread the pressure on my scoop, I have added a 1/4 inch chain to the spade tied to a center hook on my scoop top and tightened with small chain binders. This helps some with digging. It does not fit on my 2 inch forks that I add on the scoop. It is made for the thinner forks that attach direct to the loader which are often one inch in thickness. I am most impressed with how I can get under a small, say 6 foot tree to transplant. Also, how it slides under an individual large rock, say 2 cubic feet, is impressive. It makes field rock/boulder picking easier without having to dig a five foot wide hole in a worked field. I also can pick up one large rock off the pile and place for landscaping desires. Again, don't expect that this will turn your tractor into a back hole. But its a nice addition saving my body some stress.”
