Universal Hay Bale Spear Bucket Attachment Frame + 43" Spear Reviews

4.8 Rating 32 Reviews
Read Titan Attachments Reviews

The Hay Bale Spear Attachment is designed to easily install on the front of your skid steer or tractor loader bucket. This universal mount slides over the bucket's cutting edge and utilizes the underside for leverage. The bolt-on chain system firmly tightens the chain with the provided rachet binder allowing you to get to work in minutes. When finished, loosen the chain, and it off the bucket to start moving the earth again. The durable frame features Conus 2 sleeves for installing hay bale spears and stabilizer spears and is rated at a 3,000 LB loading capacity. Because of its powerful weight capacity, you can easily transport and stack several hay bales, round or square. Use this attachment on the farm or ranch to help feed horses, cows, and other animals.

Was delivered fast, easy to put together. Have used it several times to move round bales and this has made it much easier. I really like the bucket attachment bc it raises higher than a 3pt to enable getting hay off of a trailer.

This fits my John Deere bucket perfectly, was easy to install and works great. The price was very good. The only downsize was shipping and delivery. It was shipped in two parcels and one was delayed and never delivered by FedEx. Had a lot of problems getting resolution of the missing package until after more than a week of calls and e-mails I was finally ship the remaining parts. This several Week delay and the problems communicating with customer service make the probability of ordering something else low. Mike Williams

On the first day of using this product, the d-ring as shown on the picture broke. We were able to rig up something to keep things moving, but that was a bit of a disappointment. I contacted the company and they quickly sent out essentially another spear, since the d-ring could not be replaced. I'm planning on taking it to a welder and having a welder put one that is a little bit more heavy duty on. The bales that I am lifting are approximately 900 lb. Other than the d-ring, the spear is working well. The company was extremely responsive to the issue.

I was a little skeptical at first after reading the reviews not just here but online with the spear bending or not capable of working with a heavy bale, but after 3 pretty heavy bales nothing but great results! Mind you it took a few tries getting the spear in a proper location to lift the bale, now no issues whatsoever! Just make sure the attachment is properly secure and the spear/guide rods are tight and you shouldn't have any issues.
