Universal Hay Bale Spear Bucket Attachment Frame + 43" Spear Reviews

4.8 Rating 32 Reviews
Read Titan Attachments Reviews

The Hay Bale Spear Attachment is designed to easily install on the front of your skid steer or tractor loader bucket. This universal mount slides over the bucket's cutting edge and utilizes the underside for leverage. The bolt-on chain system firmly tightens the chain with the provided rachet binder allowing you to get to work in minutes. When finished, loosen the chain, and it off the bucket to start moving the earth again. The durable frame features Conus 2 sleeves for installing hay bale spears and stabilizer spears and is rated at a 3,000 LB loading capacity. Because of its powerful weight capacity, you can easily transport and stack several hay bales, round or square. Use this attachment on the farm or ranch to help feed horses, cows, and other animals.

works great, easy to install once you figure it out. Needs some sort of mounting instructions although it isn't difficult to figure out.

Works great! Love how quickly I can attach for moving round bales then get right back to using the bucket. Thanks for the total package. Will be buying more implements from Titan! Great stuff!

Very well built. Second purchase and both pieces were great quality and a fair price. Exactly what I had expected. Oversized for my smaller bucket on my 855 JD but with a little adjusting works great! Ratchet binder was way to big. A little farm engineering and it was ready to go. Will purchase again from Titan. Highly recommended.

I have had this bale spear for approximately a month now and have put it on and taken it off my tractor at least 10 times. It takes 2-3 minutes to put it on and under a minute to take it off. I use this on a JD3038E tractor with a 305 loader rated and ballasted to lift 1250lbs. However, I do not recommend lifting 1200lb bales with a tractor similar in size with this spear. Between the small tractor footprint, and the fact that the spear is out at the end of your bucket ~1000-1100lb bales tip my tractor forward if I raise or lower them too them too quickly or travel across bumpy ground. For lighter bales (600-800lbs), this has not been an issue at all. My only other complaint, which is minor, is that the chain binder that comes with the spear is a bit too big - there is no place around the bucket to have both hooks pulling straight so if you don't get it in just the right spot, you cant tighten up the chain. For smaller buckets like the one on the 305 loader, you might consider picking up a binder that is a couple inches shorter end-to-end.

1st round bale I picked up snapped the chain that’s included in half! Need to include a heavier chain! Other than that it worked out ok

Looks Like it will work well, what I really like is the ease of switching it from my tractor bucket to a skid steer bucket.
