“This is a perfect straw rake. It collects pine straw and leaves in the first pass. It will grab sticks and drag them a small distance. If you are using it for sticks, it will take several passes to collect majority of the sticks. The bigger the sticks the more trouble the rake has with it. However remember, it is a straw rake. It works wonders for what it is built for and it does more if you are patient. Glad I bought it.”

“Well, I don't have pine straw needles. I have lots and lots of sticks. Mostly Poplar trees that had a rough couple of years and are now dropping lots of limbs. I tried the pine straw needle rake hoping that it would do the job of gathering up the fallen limbs so I would not have to go to the expense of buying a landscape rake. I have been pleased to see that it works pretty well getting the sticks. It also got the leaves and dead grass as well which actually helped keep the sticks from slipping thru the tines. It works for me!!”
