“Made well. Not too heavy. I don't recommend backing with this aerator. It puts too much pressure on the spikes. I bent one on a rock. Moving forward it seems to float over rocks pretty well. I did have to supplement the hardware provided with some large flatwashers. But overall, I'm very happy with this item for the money.”

“One of the spikes were bent when it arrived in the mail. Also no “washers” for the upper 3 point attachment & bracket that has to be assembled to the drum. You have to have washers or the upper attachment will come loose when using it. I didn't get a CAT 1 pin, mine only came with a CAT 2 pin. Luckily I have other tractor implements so I have extra CAT 1, & CAT 2 pins. It’ does do a great job when rolling it across your lawn. Make sure you use a small level when installing on your tractor to get a perfect hook up. This product is made in China for roughly $900.00 & if I would of known that I wouldn’t have bought this implement. I’m going to fill the implement drum with oil for weight & so that the metal doesn’t rust.”

“Do not purchase this item or you will be disappointed. I received my drum spike aerator, put it together per the instructions and filled it PER THEIR WEBSITE instructions with just under 40 gallons of water. WIthin 15 minutes of using it, the bolts they provided sheered and the tubular steel ripped open. I submitted a warranty claim with pictures of the sheered bolts and damage to the unit. It took them almost two weeks to finally approve a warranty claim even with the supplied proof of evidence. I requested a full refund, but they WILL NOT give refunds. They sent me a replacement that i am confident will also fail.”

“The drum is not heavy enough, I had to add some concrete blocks so it would penetrate the ground better. The lawn was soft but it needs more weight.”
