“The quality is pretty good and substantial. The bearings are solid and tough. Plenty of weight to do the work. The spikes are tough but will buckle under the right condition. Perhaps if the spikes were thicker at the base and tapered down to the tip? It was easy to straighten the bent ones with a heavy hammer and I'll just have to be more careful. I'm looking forward to a pretty lawn this year... We'll see.”

“Worked great but should have heavier and larger washers for bolting the top link bracket on or just weld it on. The washers started to bend into the oblong holes and became loose. Easy fix No other issues.”

“The assembly is a little annoying. Weld lag in the way a tight fits. Bolt holes not easily accessible etc. but for the most part after adjusting and tightening after a few uses, it tightens up. Listen, it’s spikes not plugs...it’s half the cost of a core aerator...but it does the job...it puts slots in the ground. The quality of the bearings and metal seem good and I expect many years of service from it.”

“It does as advertised, however, next time I would recommend a core plug aerator. I could barely tell if it penetrated. Also there was a hole next to one of the spikes and a stream of water came out from the drum. So, having to get some JB Weld to fix it before I can get back out in the pasture.”

“This is my third purchase from TA.. Shipped promptly. Easy disassembly from pallet and steel angle iron that protected Aerator during shipment. Rolls well. Lift prior to sharp turns when attached to your tractor. Overall, this does the job it was designed to do.. Only negative is that I now wish there was a 6 or 7 foot model option for faster completion of pasture/yard work.”
